Administration

The Borough Manager directs and supervises all departments of the Borough with the exception of the Police Department which is managed by the Chief of Police who reports to the Mayor. The Borough Manager is a professional position appointed by Borough Council. The duties and responsibilities of the position are explained in the Home Rule Charter and Administrative Code.

Mission

Administer and execute the laws, services, maintenance and renewal of infrastructure under the direction of our elected leaders and in the best interests of all current and future residents of West Chester Borough.
