The Borough of West Chester would like to remind our residents and businesses of the upcoming 9th Annual Shred & Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday June 11th from 9am-1pm in the Municipal Building parking lot, 401 E. Gay St.
Free Geek eWaste Recyclers will collect computer hard drives, CPU's, monitors, printers, miscellaneous computer accessories (i.e. computer mouse, keyboard), & LCD televisions in addition to any small household appliances with a plug for recycling.
*NO tube televisions will be accepted at this event*
The Borough will also provide a FREE Shred Day for community members in order to give you a safe and convenient method of destroying confidential documents. Bring any and all personal documents containing sensitive information such as mail with account numbers, passwords, pins, signatures, social security numbers, old check books, etc.
