As the glow of the Sun fades we’ll just catch our sister planet Venus sinking into the western horizon. As the sky darkens we’ll see the winter constellations setting in the west as the spring constellations rise in the east. The Big Dipper will be high in the northern sky and Leo the Lion will be at center stage in the south. We’ll also have a beautiful crescent Moon to gaze upon where we can zoom in and see the shadows of mountains and craters on the terminator, the line separating light from darkness on the surface of the Moon.
